Scout Oath (or Promise)
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Interested in joining our troop?

We'd love to meet you!

Whoever said that "half the fun is getting there" had to be a scout!  Because the only thing more exciting than being awarded a badge, is the unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience that went into earning it. For boys and their parents, the memorable moments of scouting achievement are an invaluable part of being prepared. For life.

If there's one thing Scouts know, it's that the best part of earning a badge is the experience. And with badges ranging from backpacking to robotics, there are tons of cool experiences to be had. So if your son is looking for real adventure, get him involved with Boy Scouts. You'll see firsthand how once-in-a-lifetime opportunities can lead to a lifetime of success.

Troop 11 meets every Tuesday from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in Alameda. We are always happy to have prospective scouts come and meet with our Scouts and Leaders.  Send us a note to let us know you're interested, and we'll coordinate!  Email is best.
